$9,385.00 Paid Out at Tower Lanes!
Champion John Trausch

THANKS AGAIN to all that made an effort to check in early, it made a BIG difference. Every squad went off on time, even with the large turnout in a 16 lane house. We appreciate everyones responsiveness and enthusiasm! The scores were just right for this format and higher than the last time Tower Lanes hosted a "Best 3 of 4" event (October). With 28 places cashing this week, we couldn't have had a more balanced "Cash List", with every level of bowler well represented on the list. 6 members with 30+ pins of handicap, 7 with 20-30, 6 with 10-20, 8 with 0-10, 3 with minus pins. Great scoring, great balance, great turnout, great payouts... I guess we could say it was a pretty good day!!

The Tower Lanes "Best 3 of 4" Champion is John Trausch, with a nice 846. This is John's 2nd Tour Victory, coming just a few weeks short of the anniversary of his first title, in April of 2007. A $2,606.00 payday for John, makes it THREE $2,000+ winners in the last 4 weeks. He had an awesome 'Fan Club' to support him, his daughters Katrina, (5) and Amanda, (3) were very well behaved cheerleaders. John used his Ebonite "No-Limit" from Bowldoc's Pro Shop at Secoma for this win. At the last event held at Tower Lanes, (Doubles in January), John said that he found a line and ball combination that worked well for him. That discovery sure worked well and paid-off for him on Saturday! Nice Job and Congratulations John!

Every squad had bowlers either taking the lead or making a run at the Top Spot, with the Top 5 finishers only separated by 10 pins! Our 2nd place finisher, missing the Top Spot by only 3 pins, is Paul King. Paul has been on a "Hot Streak" lately winning at Pacific Lanes just 2 weeks ago. He had a SWEET payoff for 2nd, with another $1,142.00 added to his bankroll. In 3rd, Tour veteran Jeanierose Tabulina was only 7 pins off the Top Spot, with a fine 839, good for $621. Only 3 more pins back, in a tie for 4th, were Matt Kruse and Dawn Eaton.

Next week: The EQC Quarterly Championship at Cascade Bowl & Casino. Invitations and details, will go out by Wednesday. As a result of our growth in the last quarter, we have the largest number of eligible members ever for the Championship. It should make for a fantastic Tournament.

Squads: Saturday 12:00 - 2:30 - 5:00. Sunday 11:00 - 1:00 - Finals at 3:30
