John "Magic" Bristol had the "Hammer" at Tower Lanes Saturday, for real. Magic credits his confidence and attitude the last 2 weeks to his new Hammer "Black Widow" and Hammer "No Mercy". He says he's never thrown a ball that reacts like them and he came into the Tournament with a "Can't lose attitude". He has been bowling for 46 years and currently shoots in three leagues at Kent Bowl. He plans on using his $798 winnings at the USBC Nationals. His other hobbies include golf, softball & he collects baseball cards. Magic wants to thank his girlfreind Pam Sims for her support, she joined the Tour and bowled with him Saturday. He says his secret to success at Tower was to, "just have fun" and the relaxing round of Putt-Putt golf he played just before his squad.
