Final 4 |
What a tremendous record breaking weekend. 125 entries and 31 finalists, lead to a total payout of $9614, ALL RECORDS. We are very enthusiastic and appreciative for the efforts made by the 9-Tap Members, who have assisted with all the growth the Tour is experiencing.
Kihei Kim wins by ONE PIN in the Final Match, to take down the $2000 1st prize. Kihei survived some tough matches along the way, for his 1st win on the Tour. He has been bowling for 36 years and shoots league at Daffodil and Pacific Lanes. Kehei used his Storm Paradigm, drilled by Jim Eriksen to win this one. He wants to thank Mitch Vernon for giving him the "secret" for calming his nerves. Kehei works as an electrician for Sound Energy and enjoys time with his daughter and bowling - bowling - bowling.
Brian Selck, who joined the Tour in January, took Kehei down to the very last shot, finishing 2nd for $1000. Brian picked-up a tough spare in the 10th frame of the final game, only to come up a pin short in count on the next ball. Andy Principe and Jeff Cota also had a great run, finishing tied for 3rd winning $450 each.
Strike Pot: Now $4591. We'll have some Specials in July trying to give more of it away!
Next: Pre-Bowl Tournament at Narrows Plaza, July 5th - 11th
