JAMES HALL WINS 9-TAP TOUR TITLE & OVER
$1,200.00 AT HILINE LANES!

|
Champion James Hall |
We had so many bowlers that looked as if they had a great shot at the top spot all day. A few splits or a few bad frames did a lot of people in. Even the winner had that "one bad game" this week. James Hall took the Top Spot with a nice 1046. He was another first time winner, and it was also the first time he cashed on the Tour.
This is only his 2nd year back into bowling after a 7 year lay-off. When asked if he had anyone 'rooting him on', James said that he didn't have anyone with him and that all the bowlers around him seemed to be in the running and were very focused on winning themselves. He used his Brunswick Fury that he picked up in Las Vegas to win the Tournament. Wow, he brought back a "winner" from Vegas... how novel. James bowls in leagues at Bowlero and Secoma Lanes. He also has an unusual hobby.....collecting old books such as dictionaries, bibles & history books.
Taking 2nd place was a returning 9-Tap Tour veteran Dan Pero, who was back for the first time in quite awhile. Finishing 3rd was a Tour newcommer, Edwin Dizon. Welcome and nice shooting guys. Our 4th place finisher is no stranger to the Tour, cashing for his first time, now that he's allowed to compete was Ron Holt, one of the former owners. Nice job Ron!!!
Next Tournament: March 17th - Cascade Lanes (Renton) 12:00 - 2:30 - 5:00
