The Hiline Tournament produced yet another 1st time winner. Neal Nagasawa who has bowled on and off with the 9-Tap Tour since the early days of the Tour, has had a few low cashes in the past but nothing close to this weekends result. It was worth $1061 for his perseverance. When asked what he has planned for his winnings, "Las Vegas" was his instant answer. He and his wife Shirley, who was there to root him on, already had plans to go to Vegas this week. Neal devotes many hours to coaching Junior Bowlers at Kent Bowl in addition to the High School Travel League he works with. He even drilled his own ball (Lane Masters Terminator) at the Precision Pro Shop at Kent Bowl. Neal has worked for Seattle City Light for the last 24 years.
