Champion William Beauchere |
The Champion of this weeks Tournament at Cascade Bowl is William Beauchere, taking his 1st Championship since joining the Tour two years ago. Bill had 2 previous 4th place finishes along with several other cashes. He has only been back into bowling the last 3 1/2 years after 10 year layoff. As of Saturday morning Bill wasn't going to bowl at Cascade. He only found out that he didn't have to work next week (EQC Championship), a few hours before the Tournament. Knowing that he needed one more entry to be eligible, he hopped in a car and came down. Wouldn't you know he'd go and win! Bill used his Columbia Panic that he got from Tony Clausen at Tech City Bowl to win it. He bowls twice a week at HiLine and Tech City and also enjoys Golf and Big Game fishing which includes the 600 pound Marlin that he took 4 hours to land. Veteran Mick Hodge (2nd) had his best finish in a while. Gus Ramos III (3rd) and Brandon Oliver (4th) had their best finish yet with the 9-Tap Tour. Next week: EQC Quarterly Championship - $2000 Added-Money Eligibility confirmations will go out by email or phone to 110 eligible members, this week. |
