Total Paid Out: $5,279.00

Wrap Up

Schofield

There were 75entries, that paid 15 places;handicaps on the cash list were spread out from 3 to 67; low to cash at 708; paid out $5,279.00 and the tournament favorite,"BEST 3 OUT OF 4"format at Schofield Bowling Center produced another title for an "Old Time" Member.  Our tournament "Old Timer" joined the Tour "waaay back in June of 2010, the year of our inception, winning his third title. The day began going over the "oil pattern" with Nelson Weyl to reassure our Staff that we had a 9 Tap pattern laid down on the lanes. Our 9 Tap pattern turned out to be fair, as the scores indicated and the way we like it, where every member had a shot at winning.

Old Timer Glen Limusually bowls multiple squads however today he and his wife had another engagement to attend so he could only bowl the first squad.  First Squad, yep you guessed it, Glen bowled with such precision that he posted an 827 to become Leader of the first squad. Following close by was Shawn Agsalda with a nice score of 805 beating.

TheSecond Squad: No one stepped up to the plate in this squad with the exception of Cristian Begazo (774) and John Iyoki (752). The leaderremained the same, the Old Timer.

The Third Squad: Went down to the wire before we could determine the eventual winner. Brian Kameenui Sr. put on a good showing by scoring a nice 764 to break into the top 5 scorers.  Glen Lim's 827 score held up to give him his third title and championship shirt.  Shawn Agsalda's 805 score held up and a 2nd place finish. Cristian Begazo placed third with his 774 score.

Congratulations to  Glen on your third title after a 3 year drought . Glen said, "I tried to play an area on the lanes that I could hit" and that he did consistently. He used a Columbia "Blue Dot" bowling ball drilled by Darin Villegas of Honolulu. He thanks the 9 Tap Tour Staff for the opportunity to bowl in these events, as well as his wife, Pat and son Daniel for all the support and laughter.

9 Tap Jackpot

Our 9 Tap Jackpot increased and now stands at $2,152.00 and our Progre$$ive Pot is at $1,344.00.  Craig Oshiro was the winner of the no tap bonus with 5 no taps earning him $150.00. Bring a friend or family member and sign them up to bowl on our tour.
