Total Paid Out: $5,609.00

Wrap Up

Schofield Bowling Center

There were 71 entries, that paid 14 places; handicaps on the cash list were spread out from -4 to 55;  low to cash at 710;  paid out $5,609.00 and the tournament  favorite, "BEST 3 OUT OF 4" format at Schofield Bowling Center gave us another New Champion.   Our tournament Champion is an old timer, winning her first title. Seannalynn Mahilum says, "it was super fun, definitely unexpected and thanks to Pamela, Joe, Jason and Kim for cheering me on.  I Just Got Lucky,  Mahalo Ke Akua."

The day began going over the "oil pattern" with Nelson Weyl to reassure some of our members we had a 9 Tap pattern laid down on the lanes.  Our 9 Tap pattern turned out to be fair, as the scores indicated and the way we like it, where every member has a shot at winning.

Surung "Sue" Stephens continues her streak of great bowling on Tour as she starts off as the First Squad Leader with a nice score of 750 beating out Daniel Toyooka-Lim (748) by 2 pins and Kevin Asato (710) following behind.

Sue hangs on and remains as the Second Squad Leaderwith Blaine Murobayashi (746) and Alfredo Melchor (730) moving up the leader board.

The Third Squad however turned out  to be Sue's demise as a large squad with 34 entries and everyone taking shots at the leader.  The score of 750 was very beatable and just waiting for someone to step up to the plate.

David Hancock (740) was on his way to his first title, moved lanes and  hit a "Wall" in the third game and could not recover settling for 6th Place. Jeremy Ledet (781) missed  his chance of earning his second title after "playing mind games with himself" at the start of the third squad and could only nose out Sue Stephens for 2nd Place.  Sue ended in 3rd place followed by Daniel, 4th place and Blaine at 5th.

Seannalynn (801) began her third squad shooting a 209 then back to back 230 scratch games to steal the championship away from Jeremy and Sue.  Congratulations!  Seannalynn on your first title.  Seannalynn used a Roto Grip bowling ball drilled at JB Bowling Pro shop by Jon Burroughs in Las Vegas.  She thanks the 9 Tap Tour Staff for the opportunity to bowl in these events, as well as friends and family for all the support and laughter.

9 Tap Jackpot

Our 9 Tap Jackpot was hit by Vergilio Repollo and now stands at  $1,680.00 and  our Progre$$ive Pot  is at $1,268.00.   Giles Okada was the winner of the no tap bonus with 4 no taps earning him $50.00.  Bring a friend or family member and sign them up to bowl on our tour, while membership is discounted.
